Naru's Character Data
Her relationship with the new manager, Keitaro, is a love/hate one. They both live as neighbors, with Naru living on the floor above separated by a hole in the ceiling/floor. Both Keitaro and Naru refer to each other with "aitsu" which more or less means "that guy/gal." While she thinks Keitaro's mind is somewhat dirty, she can't help having some affection for him. It seems like Naru is actually the one in charge at Hinata Inn since all the other residents all look up to her and not Keitaro. A troubled family life led her to move into to Hinata Inn. As a 3rd year high school student, she's one of the students in all Japan and took first place in the national prep. examination.Like Keitaro, she too is trying to gain acceptance into Tokyo University with a promise to a person from her past as one of her main motivations. However, because she studies so much, she has become pretty much blind and requires glasses to see anything beyond 5 inches. She's also given up clubs and doesn't have much of a social life because of her studies.
