Episode 9: The Case of the Missing Hinata Apartment's Money: A Mystery Synopsis It's a peaceful day at the Hinata Inn, and everyone's doing their usual routines. Kitsune goes and talks to Keitaro, who ends up leaving the rent money out in the open in his room. Then it disappears and the search for the culprit starts. They first ask Naru, who's alibi is that she couldn't have gone into Keitaro's room without help. Next is Shinobu, who was doing laundry, so she couldn't have done it. Her alibi corroborates with Kitsune and Su's alibis too, which was they were just talking to each other. They ask Motoko, who couldn't have done it since she just came home and talked to Haruka. That clears everyone. Over lunch, Haruka says she found the rent envelope, but when Keitaro takes the contents out, it turns out to just be pieces of paper. Su raises the idea that it was Tama-chan who took it. When Su picks up Tama-chan, they see there's something under the turtle, but Naru grabs the turtle and runs away at that instant. Everyone now suspects that it must be Naru. However, Keitaro takes Naru's hand and helps her run away, saying that he'll help her unconditionally. They run around and end up in the hot-springs, where Haruka figures out that it was Kitsune after all, and after being caught, Kitsune explains how she did it. At the end of the day, Naru takes the sticker off the bottom of Tama-chan. It's the photo sticker of her and Keitaro. Screenshots
