OVA Episode 2: Keitaro

Synopsis

Upon Keitaro's return, he doesn't recognize his own little sister and only recognizes her after Haruka tells him. Kanako tells him that she's been the acting manager in the house and asks him about their promise. Keitaro interprets the promise as writing her (which he hasn't done).

Kanako realizes that Keitaro will always treat her as a little sister, not a peer, so she decides to leave. But then, she has a change of heart since she feels like she's the one Keitaro loves most. Kanako tells Naru that she's going to win over Keitaro since she is the promised girl.

Kanako gives chores to everyone which conveniently gets everyone out of the house so she and Keitaro can be alone. However, Naru comes back and gives Keitaro punch, which sends Keitaro to the waterfalls, where he contemplates his situation. At the waterfall, Kanako tries to make another move on Keitaro, but is interrupted by Naru. Kanako asks Naru outright what she her relationship with Keitaro is. She response with a "Manager to Tenant." This makes Keitaro depressed and Kanako blames Naru.

Kanako gets Mutsumi to become "Keitaro" and has a scene with Naru in the hot springs. Meanwhile, Kanako becomes "Naru" and has a scene with Keitaro in his bath. After Keitaro tells "Naru" that he loves Naru, the mask comes of and her cover is blown. When Naru finds out about Mutsumi, she runs to Keitaro's bath, where she finds Kanako washing Keitaro's hair. Unfortunately, this doesn't bring back any memories for Keitaro.

In the alley by the Teahouse, Kentaro gives a pair of keys to Keitaro. Keitaro gives a note to Naru to meet him at the annex. Keitaro then goes up to the abandoned annex and tells Tama-chan about how people who confess in that building will be forever linked. He then hears someone coming. Back at the teahouse, Haruka explains the legend of the annex. When she realizes that the key isn't around, Naru sense danger and runs to the annex.

In the dark, Keitaro grabs the girl and confesses. Turns out that the girl was Kanako and when Naru tries to get close to Keitaro, a magical force prevents her. The magic of the annex has been released. Kanako says she won
