OVA Episode 3: Naru

Synopsis

Both Keitaro and Naru have dreams with Moe-chan about the annex. In Keitaro's dream, he is reminded of the promise to Kanako he made when he was washing her hair that they would one day go to the annex and be "linked." Naru dreams that Keitaro puts the ring on Kanako. She wakes up and realizes she doesn't have the ring.

The magical powers of the building extend to Hinata Inn and prevent her from approaching Keitaro. She then goes back to the annex where she's attacked by Motoko and Su, both of whom seem to have their bodies controlled by an external force. The girls have a meeting with Naru where they demand that Naru speak her mind about Keitaro. Kanako is somehow around too with Keitaro, so in the face of so many people, Naru runs away. Keitaro gives chase, but is punched. During recovery, Kanako tries to snuggle with Keitaro, but he only utters "Narusegawa" in his sleep. Kanako then is determined to make Naru more honest to herself and Keitaro.

As Naru is walking along the street, she meets "Kentaro" in his car and they drive to the beach. "Kentaro" asks Naru questions about Keitaro, but she still gives ambivalent responses. Being fed up, "Kentaro" removes his mask and starts brawling with Naru. Naru finally confesses that she doesn't want to take the risk of jeopardizing her relationship with the other Hinata girls for Keitaro. Keitaro arrives to rescue Kentaro from the trunk of his car, and sees "Naru" running away.

He finally catches up to her at Hinata Inn, where he reveals that he knows "Naru" is Kanako and apologizes for forgetting the promise. The magical force then kicks in and sends them to the annex. Naru comes back and goes into the annex. In there, she meets the other Hinata girls who have been controlled by annex to prevent her from entering, but in the end, they all let her through.

After some discussion, Kanako tells Keitaro that she'll let Naru win for his sake. Naru then goes in, but the annex still won't let her. Parts of the house explode, but she manages to hang out and sees the ring on the building's clock. She goes and grabs it, but drops the ring. Keitaro catches the ring, but also falls. Naru decides to jump after Keitaro and miraculously, they land on a cushion (maybe with Moe-chan's help). Naru tells Keitaro that she loves him and gives him what Su calls an "adult" kiss. The other girls see the kiss and chase after them. Seta then comes in on a helicopter and picks up Keitaro. Naru uses Tama-can to fly up to the helicopter. They say they're going to Tokyo U.
