I stumbled upon this site http://www.dontbuycds.org/rant.htm. It's such a sorry piece of crap argument for boycotting buying CDs that I don't even want to direct link it. Unfortunately, I don't really have the motivation to rebuf the article so I'll leave the decision to you. I have to say though that the rant presented is equally bad as the stuff that the RIAA spits out. This rant points out that Napster increased music sales and has a link to a Wired article. But look, the article was written in mid-2000, when the economy was still strong. Of course they're going to spend more money if they have a job. That's the same FUD argument the RIAA gives when arguing that people aren't buying as many CDs now as they were two years ago (people are getting fired left and right, of course they don't have money to buy unnecessary items).
Blah. Thinking about that will give me high blood pressure. Meanwhile, I got all my Ai yori Aoshi books today! Hoorah! I'm half way done with the first book, and will work through the night to finish it before I sleep. It's quite harder than Love Hina because it doesn't have furigana and so I have to look up the kanji for all the words I don't know in the kanji dictionary. Looking up kanji is infinitely harder than looking up kana.
