Alas! The journal page is

Alas! The journal page is done! The Javascript code has been cleaned, the HTML has been formatted properly. All is well here. I still need to put some stuff on the left "information panel" but that's easy compared to all the scripting I've had to do in the past few days.

I went exploring Midtown today. After my class, I took the red line subway from Columbia. I hopped aboard the express after getting off at 96 St. I then put on my head phones and enjoyed the ride. The express train stops at 96th, 72nd, and 42nd Street (Times Square). I had thought it stopped at 59th Street for some reason so I counted the number of stops before I got out. If I hadn't worn my headphones, I might have heard the announcements, but you probably can guess what happened. I got out and saw the sign which said "32nd Street." Oops. 32nd (or was it 33rd...hmm), is where Penn Station and Madison Square Garden is. So I took a little walk around there and walked north on 7th Ave. From there through Times Square all the way up to Rockerfeller Center (and into Kinokuniya bookstore yet again!) and then to the Sony store to find the battery to my digicam. I stopped by the Toy 'R' Us at Times Square and I was very impressed. After seeing the games on the new GameCube, I really want one! Gimme gimme! But I already have my PS2, so I guess that'll do.
