Asahiya finally got the second volume of A-Princess, a magazine that focuses on the girls of anime. Actually, in my opinion, it's just an excuse to print out tons and tons of posters of your favorite anime babe. This was one of the first pull-outs, and...drool...(it's of Aoi, if you can't tell).
So, I also got Mahoromatic and X Vol. 3 in the mail today from Amazon. While I'm very interested in watching Mahoromatic, I'm going to hold out until I finish the first book of the manga, which is already sitting on the shelf waiting to be read. My current backlog contains: Excel Saga Vol. 2-4 (unopened), Grave of the Fireflies (unopened), X Vol. 1-3 (unopened), Mahoromatic Vol. 1 (unopened), His and Her Circumstances Vol. 2 (unopened), and of course, finish up Japanese DVD Rikumao Vol. 2. Coming tomorrow or Friday from Japan is Saikano #3, Azumanga Daioh #3, PIANO Vol. 1 & 2. And of course, I have a pile of manga to go through (Nanaka 6/17, Onegai Teacher, Mahoromatic, etc...). It's kinda dizzying isn't it?
Back to reality, someone on the subway smelled like they haven't showered for a month. I got on the train, and it just hit me. I looked around, but there was no bum hanging out, so it was a normal person who doesn't have hygene. Since it was a crowded train, I had to endure it for about 10 minutes before my stop. And the people around me also smelled it since I could see that they were utilizing their scarves to cover their nose. Terrible.
My little cassette Walkman is partially broken. The play button doesn't really play anymore unless I shake it a bit. I think it's because I've been using it for my language tapes, and I've been pretty intense on the play and stop buttons, which may have loosened something inside. Now I have to go and buy another one. Probably a cheap one at that. $20 sound good?
