I've finally gotten the web site fixed after my brush with calamity last night. I'm going to pin that mistake on fatigue if anything. I've been spending way too much time on the design of the site recently. When I think I'm going to stop, I look at the site and add another "feature." And those usually take me until 2am in the morning...and then I wake up at 7:30 to go to work and do some more programming. It's not that I hate it, but I need to chill.
Found an interesting essay titled "Teach Yourself Programming in Ten Years" I wholeheartedly agree with everything written. The problem I see is that people are too obsessed with money. It's probably easy for me to say, and I admit that, but when people are going to choose between passion and money, they usually choose the latter. That's why a lot of people went in to the computer business; they thought they could strike it rich doing something they didn't necessarily like to do. Do what you like to do, and everything will follow, says the optimistic me.
I just found out yesterday that Cardcaptor Sakura manga is going to be re-released on 3/5. I still have all the original versions on my shelf unread. Now it's a race. Gotta finish them all by 3/5.
