In other words, the day where I do all the judging.

So I'm still in the process of doing reviews for all the stuff I've read/listened to/played/watched over the past week or so. In addition, I've been busy reading over project papers submitted by students to NASA's NSIP program, the topic being "Designing a Mission to Mars...and Beyond." I'm generally impressed with the ideas that these kids have, although some work needs to be done on the mechanics of writing a paper. I know I'm pretty bad with 'scribbles here, but I'm not out competing for some award with my weblog.

This morning was a bit of a bummer. I was supposed to wake up at 6am to do a last minute bid for an auctions, but I didn't wake up until 7. I'm a bit disappointed in that I couldn't wake up to do it. I'm usually pretty good at waking up when I tell myself to wake up without an alarm clock. But that's only if I'm really determined. I was still pretty ambivalent about this item, so I think that's why I overslept.

I still have a few more books to review, but I think I'll leave them until tomorrow.
