I'm in San Diego for the weekend. At the costco here, I met up with one of my best friends from jr. high. His name is Jim and we went to the same jr. high and high school together in Santa Cruz, 400 miles away from here. We drifted apart during high school, but we were always in contact since he worked at the Costco there in Santa Cruz. Last year, he said that he was going to leave Santa Cruz to go to a vocational school and we parted ways. He never did tell me where he was going. Anyhow, he's found a job down here, probably because he has a lot of history with the company. He says that he was in school, but couldn't afford the rent, so he had to come back and work.

In related news, kinda, I find out that a guy on my floor freshman year at Cornell (NY) is good friends with a person I knew from Stanford (CA) who is now at Harvard (MA).

It's amazing what's on TV now, having been exposed to it. The winner of tonights Iron Chef is...things aren't looking good for Iron Chef French...the Challenger wins!

SNL tonight features Janet Jackson, and they make a special note that it wasn't tape delayed. It's kinda sad that they have to warn people whenever she makes an appearance.
