I kinda expected the basketball to end that way. You can't really expect *that* much just from one player. The latter half of the story where they go train with Sanada is pretty boring. Not much going on with Mizuki and Natsuki either.

Back contains character profiles of Moe and Hayato.

24. a few minute: With only seconds to go and a point behind, St. Mariannu has the ball and it gets passed to Natsuki who's alone up-court. But he misses the pass! The ball goes out of bounds, and he apparently has leg spasms and can barely stand. However, even though they're down a point, the Fujinohara has the ball, and there's only 5 seconds to go, Natsuki still has the fighting spirit.

25. 消えない炎 (Inextinguishable Fire): Hayato has the ball and all he needs to do is just hold it. However, he goes for revenge and has a 1-on-1 with Natsuki. He manages to run pass the tired and injured Natsuki.

26. 決着 (Showdown): Hayato makes the last second, and unnecessary, shot. St. Mariannu has lost, but they've won over the crowd, impressing even the mayor.

27. 再出発 (Departing Again): While Natsuki is recuperating, he gets visited by 天宮静恵 (Shizue Amamiya), the mayor's secretary. She offers his basketball team, and the school's cheerleader (who have all just happened to stop by Natsuki's place) to go to a special training camp.

28. 市長からの贈り物 (Gift From the Mayor): The two clubs are taken to a shrine deep in the woods where they have to cross a footbridge just to get there. When they arrive, they find out that they're supposed to be training with some drunk samurai, 真田 (Sanada) who doesn't know anything about basketball. Natsuki wants to go back, but the footbridge has collapsed.

29. 真田流兵術 (Sanada-ryuu Style): With nothing else to do, the girls wash up. Natsuki spends his time dribbling and imaging facing Hayato again. Sanada comes in and at first Natsuki dismisses him as not knowing anything about basketball. However, Sanada shows him the speed of someone who has mastered Kobudo.

30. 古武道の稽古!? (Kobudo Training!?): The basketball team starts their Kobudo training. Sanada has them first try and sneak around the girls in the hot springs and get their clothing. Things don't go too well for the guys.

31. ナツキと古武道 (Natsuki and Kobudo): They continue training with balance and swordplay. Natsuki gives 110% in his training, but is told by Sanada that in Kobudo, the more you try the harder it is to attain.

32. きっかけ (Cue): After the lecture, Natsuki sees Sanada move in such a way that he looks like he's sliding through a small opening in the door. Natsuki practices that move and during the practice session with this teammates, he uses it to slip by Eiji.
