I enjoyed all the chapters in this volume. It continues with an emotional first chapter with Ryuushi and a classmate who has fallen in love with Ryuushi as a girl (from a previous story). There's more development with Kozue (as Natsume) and Ryuushi in the last two chapters.

The best chapter though, is the included bonus chapter. From the title, it seemed like a heart-warming story, but not related to Mahoraba... until you read the very last page. With that, it ties together a often mentioned background story to one of the characters.

Like all Mahoraba first printings, this comes with a tarot card. I've already mixed it up with the others, but I think it was #12. The book also includes the usual comics on the inside covers and in the back, there's a comic with Dr. Pink and Burabura discussing the results of the Mahoraba reader's poll

43. 彼と彼女 (Him and Her)
44. 新年 (New Year)
45. 棗の場合(前編) (Natsume's Circumstances, First Part)
46. 棗の場合(後編) (Natsume's Circumstances, Last Part)

This is the last of the concerts and includes the last OVA episode. It's sold as a DVD, but it's still a concert. My favorite song on here is Ayaka's song, sung by Junko Minagawa. I loved the song on the single and she sings it pretty well on stage. The group singing Asuna and Konoka's song was good too (much better than Akemi singing alone) and so was the intro to Negima anime. I wished they had more people singing in that one though.

The CD-ROM included has the same stuff, wallpapers, screen savers, and a movie/game episode. The drama has Natsumi with her two rooommates, Ayaka and Chizuru. Natsumi forgets where she put her underwear and thinks that an underwear thief is lurking.

This volume is pretty much all plot. There's no unnecessary chapters and almost every page drives the story line. It's a change from most of the stuff that I read. The chapters included reveals a lot about who the good and bad characters are, although I don't know if it's fair to say that they're "bad." Takeru's true self is revealed during the last chapter. I'm looking forward to seeing what finally happens to Hikari and Akari in the next book.

The best way I can describe this remix is that it's "bouncy." Maybe it's the bongos. It's certainly different, but I'm not sure that I like it as much. The original mix sounds a little better than this. Vocally, I had hoped that Ho-chan had more singing, but maybe on her next album...

The drama continues the trend from the previous opening CDs. Hazuki's happiness is in her new bunny. Ai loves it when she gets to make and eat dinner, especially after a long day. She also likes the quiet time after meals. Sawa also likes money and rabbits, but for her segment, she describes the various teas that she likes. Ho-chan likes her shrimps!? Yuu gets happiness from job as a voice actress and also loves wabbits.

First pressing comes with an Asuna mistake card.

This week's girl is a New Year's baby, Shoko Hamada. I don't know if it's the pictures or whatnot, but she looks like she has slightly bloodshot eyes in all the pictures.

There's also a one-shot, Kyou yori Ashita, which features a risk adverse delivery-boy becoming a motorcross champion.

* Summaries abbreviated due to backlog.
